Truth or Dare

Looking at you, I wish I could read your mind. What’s on your mind? I want to know, not pieces of you, everything. Truth or Dare? Truth. What happens when I’m close to you? Do you feel it before you even admit it? Does your heart shift slightly… like it recognizes something it can’t name yet? And when I’m not there, do I fade out completely, or do I stay somewhere quiet in your thoughts? Like a name that lingers without permission. Truth or Dare? Dare. I dare you to stop acting like it doesn’t affect you. Stop minimizing what it actually feels like. Let it exist. Even if it unsettles you. Truth or Dare? Truth. Can I call you my weakness for a second? Because your smile doesn’t just pass by, it stays. Soft. Unplanned. Like light slipping through a cracked window at the right time. You don’t try to stand out, but you still d...

Loving you quietly

Two o’clock in the morning, eyes fixed on the ceiling, my mind everywhere and nowhere at once. Thoughts tangle. Sleep stays distant. And still, all I crave is you. I picture your brown eyes, the ones I fell into without knowing how to swim. I loved them so deeply I forgot how to see anyone else. Cruel, isn’t it how beauty can undo you so gently? I felt your soul and something in me leaned toward it, as if it had always known the way. Now every inch of distance carries weight. Your voice, a melody I reach for in silence, even as I resist calling your name this late. So I hold myself together. Let the feeling exist without placing it in your hands. Because love, like faith, sometimes asks for quiet, for patience, for trust without proof. It’s heavy, carrying it alone. But maybe that’s what love does, teaches you how to endure what you once thought impossible. I love your darkness as much as your light. Tell me every terrible thing you’ve ever done, I would not turn away. Just don’t keep ...

In the Space Between Us

Is this my mind running in circles, or my heart finally telling the truth? I miss you most when you’re not beside me. I hold words on my tongue, afraid they’ll turn into jokes or be met with silence that feels heavier than laughter. You say you love me. I believe you. But sometimes love should lean closer, not stand at a distance. I wonder if you see me the way I see you. If losing me would ever scare you the way losing you scares me. Maybe you weren’t ready for the weight of choosing someone. But I was. I am. I choose you in the morning, in the quiet, in the effort. All I ask is to feel chosen back. Don’t make me question my place. Show me the path to your heart. Show me intention, and I’ll bring patience. I don’t want to hurt for someone who can’t see me the way I see her. If we’re meant to last, it won’t be perfection that saves us, but understanding. Consideration. The courage to speak instead of walking away. So, tell me is ...
